350 for ipad 10th gen, bluetooth 5.2. 400 for this bluetooth 5.0, this has wide color
Gamut i guess vs rgb . Better processor. Is this worth 50 more dollars for a casual user? I dont know much about ipads, but what is processor intensive on them?
All of the recent iPads are very fast for casual usage. The iPad 10th gen only supports the old Apple Pencil. This iPad Air supports the 2nd gen pencil.

The new m2 model can't possibly be that much better right
The m2 supports the new Apple Pencil Pro whereas this one does not.

Also apple edu store has m2 air for 550 and next month with back to school may give you additional 100 which you can use on the pencil pro. I am thinking for additional 100 I get newer chip pro pencil and 128gb storage so may be just worth waiting for it.. I agree speed wise there is no need to goto m2 but additional storage and new pencil might be worth it

Also looking at Costco iPad Pro 12 2020 650 option but it just keeps adding up…. May stick with just m2 iPad air

Honestly I like my old iPad but for some reason it started getting slow and I don't think this is my perception. I'm talking here about watching YouTube and browsing Safari at the same time. So no, it's not like very slow but it annoys me when I switch tabs and websites take forever to load while watching videos. I still recommend everyone the 9th but it is not good for multitasking imo. I think the whole performance is related to battery health and my battery is in really bad condition.
You aren't alone. Same here. I got it only for college notes, but it can be frustratingly slow. Considering the upgrade, although I don't actually need it.

Anyone have any luck price matching with Target? I've tried several times with previous deals; for the Starlight color they said they couldn't match it because it said it was a special sale from Best Buy and this time around for the Walmart deal they said:
I am able to see that you are referring to an item which is above $500 which is considered to be an high dollar value item. I would like to inform that we have a specialist team who will deal with this. Please give me a moment. Let me transfer this for you.
I have checked the details and I can see that this item is not eligible for price match as the item is on sale on competitors website, so as per the Target price match policy this item is not eligible for price match as we do price match with actual price not with the sale price.
This time around it doesn't even say clearance/limited sale/rollback etc etc. Am I just never going to be able to match for items like these? I've actually never had any issues with Target PM until now.
I'd honestly get it from BB or Amazon but I have a lot of Target gift cards sitting around so yeah..

I was able to buy the m2 Ipad Pro 2022 from Best Buy via price match for $681 out the door.
If I'm planning on doing some drawing/rendering is this 250ish price difference worth it compared to this deal?

Which retailers will price match?
I attempted a price match with B&H, but no luck with either the Walmart link nor the Amazon link. Another user seems unable to price match with Target. Seems like someone was able to get Best Buy to discount to $450, but not $400.

The fingerprint reader in the side button is a huge design failure. Used with a Targus Versavu case it fails 90% of the time and you have to use the code.

$150 price difference for 64GB instead of 128GB and M1 instead of M2 chip in the new Air?

$550 being the Apple edu price
I'm thinking of waiting til we see what the Apple Back to School deal will be. If it's $100 for iPad Air like the past two years, then I would prefer the 128gb M2 Air for 450-ish (depending if you count the gift card as good as cash) versus this one for 400

I was able to get Best Buy to price match, after switching live chat agents. They won't start a trade in online though. Edit: nevermind, once they get to a certain point, the system won't let them. Tried 5 agents

I do understand that the ipad air 5th gen has a usb-c port. Is there any difference between the 5th gen air and the 6th gen air with the usb-c port that we should go over? Can you plug external hard drive in them, or how do you use the usb-c port to do stuff. I do have ipad 9th gen that has lightening port. What is the speed of transfer between 5th and 6th gen AIR.

It is hard to understand how the 6th gen ipad air is since it just come out, no real reviews on it yet (that I can find yet unless you found one. .... ...although it should be pretty soon when PRO reviewers will have hands on experience. If you can post a LINK to PRO review on ipad air 6th gen vs 5th gen post it. Hands on Reviews.

What is slow about your 9th gen IPAD? I just got one a few months ago, and it seems zippie to me. Now, I do very basic stuff on it, and don't really play games on it (I did play a few arcade games with free offer for a few weeks), and mostly web surf, email, watch streaming videos, youtube, zoom. 64gb seems plenty for what I do, and I delete apps that I don't plan on using. I have about 40 gig's free.

I know some people do more intensive stuff on IPADS, what are you doing that slows down your IPAD.

I am looking at getting an ipad air 5th gen or 6th gen , ... because I love my IPAD 9th gen so much ...

I am holding back because good deals happen during holiday season bf/cm/xmas time.
Our 9th gens (2 pcs) have slowed down since updating to newest ios (i guess 17 or so).
Basically the shipped version out of the box was the perfect, right now on newest it lags here and there.
