Isn't the dial style controllers the ones that were causing all the fires?

Ive got about 10 of these that stopped working. Any idea what the issue is? Controller seems fine but blanket never heats up.

I don't know. I bought an awesome wireless remote mattress pad with multiple heating zones, and slowly but surely each zone failed. I had to use the warranty to get it fixed. I don't know what is wrong with these things, but apparently old ones were way more reliable.

As someone else said just plan on sending in every year until the warranty expires.

I bought one of these from the previous deal a few weeks ago and ended up returning it. It BARELY heated up. I set the dial to "10" to test it out, waited 15mins, and at most the warmth was barely noticeable - what I would call a "2" out of 10, at the most. Maybe I received a dud, but after that I'm not inclined to try again even at this deal.
