1. Try these on store and try to figure out your size (many people will be in between and cant buy)
2. Buy the version of these shoes that cost a little more but have velcro adjustment straps - have these and fit MUCH better
For my money, I prefer the Oofos slides - fit better, less firm, more comfortable, need to be replaced more often than Hoka due to the soft foam but who cares even at full price of $60 they are worth it.
It's either Oofos or the Ora Deluxe (with velcro) - this is not a good model (as evidenced by all the complaints when they switched from their older (flawed) design to this one.

Or do you mean that the deluxe is the new one?
It's ok, we have all tried to sneak out a fart but it came out…different.

I'm open to exploring an alternative.
Or do you mean that the deluxe is the new one?
The previous version had both a velcro and non velcro version.
The "flaw" was that the strips on the strap would tear in different places as you can see they are removed.
Now you have two new models, one velcro, one not velcro. The cushioning and support is identical but the adjustability of the velcro makes it far more stable
That's why people choose Hoka slides over Oofos in general - the stability of the Oofos is not the best (esp for older people) but i dont care i want the most comfortable slide for the house and nothing beats the Oofos non velcro so if you are looking for comfort that's the one to go for it's night and day between the two
