When we went camping at a state park a 9 family group brought something like this and plugged it in / hooked it up to a hose... never ending camping ice.

Does anyone know if a SMALLER countertop device that keeps making ice exists? Most countertop machines have the ice melt when it isn't used within the time window. I want ice on demand at all times but don't want to repair the ice maker in our fridge.

Anyone know of anything or have suggestions?? 🫡🫡🤔

Proper filtration or a scotsman icemaker will make clear ice. I've worked on multiple 20+ year old Scotsman icemakers that just chug right along with no filtration system in place.

I bought a nugget ice maker on Amazon. Sits on the counter next to my refrigerator. I split the water line from the fridge and connected to the ice maker. Continuous nugget ice 24/7. You do need to flush and clean it one every 2 weeks because dirt builds up from the constant opening and closing, scooping, etc. Cleaning isn't too difficult. But nugget ice definitely isn't good for cocktails like someone mentioned, melts too fast. Well worth the money and it's been reliable, had for almost a year. It's made by EUHOMY. Here's a link
