With 350 hours I can attest this is one of the best open world survival crafting games I've ever played.
My wife and I have probably 500+ hours each in this game. Some would call that a massive waste of time, but seriously the adventures and fun we've had has brought us together, and we now enjoy all kinds of co-op games together (Minecraft, Sea of Thieves, Deep Rock Galactic) because of Valheim. Playing co-op games is our evening go-to and I find that the teamwork and communication required has been amazing for our marriage. Beats the heck out of watching TV 😁
Can confirm. 564.1 hours. One of the best deals in terms of $ per hour...

This is a slick deal, but I hate this game with every fabric of my being. The building system is SUPER clunky compared to other survival games, I ended up refunding it.
That being said, this deal is through Steam, so if you hate the game you can refund it as long as you do it within the first 2hrs.
I have 600 hours on steam. It is great for $10. There is a great deal of mystery and it's a lot of fun exploring new territories. The game can be brutally hard at times but that makes it so rewarding when exploring.
I played a ton of this when it came out, totally worth it for 10 bucks if you enjoy super grindy survival style games. If you get into it at all you'll totally play enough of it to get your moneys worth.
A more capable drop-in replacement for minecrafters with all the building and grinding you want, but also a nobuildcost mode that lets you turn nature into your viking metropolis

This is a great game. I don't care for the Mistlands at all but some people love it. I bought it at release but didn't play until earlier this year, it was a lot of fun; for $10 I think you can easily get your money's worth.
Also, like many Steam games, you can set up a server on a computer and have a world for you and your friends. I used SteamCMD but I believe you can set it up through the Steam app as well (filter your library by Tools instead of Games). Then you just need to change the config file. This is my preference for most games any more (7D2D, Valheim, Enshrouded, ARK) and allows me to make use of my old 2008 gaming PC
