This seems like it could be a better deal than MB Air. Would there be a significant difference from a purely performance standpoint?
I'm seeing 1 available listed as "New in stock". is there a chance this is actually new-old stock and not Refurb?
I just got off chat with MC and confirmed the one available at my store is NOT Apple refurb and only comes with the standard 90 day warranty. YMMV. Hard pass for me.
Yeah, it's a hit or miss. Placed an order once and had it canceled due to item out of stock. Next day I placed an order and there were 2 in stock. After pickup, everything looked fine but keyboard had heavy wear and MacBook is out of apple warranty (purchase date 2021). 94% battery capacity and 168
Cycles. Debating if I'll return within the 30 days.

Just FYI it's 15 days unless there's something I missed
So I thought I'd give this deal a try. I went to MC and they had two left. One had physically worn down keys. It was pretty bad. Other one was perfect so I got that one. Also opted for 3 year warranty for $150. At that point I'm creeping into 15" M3 with similar specs but I really want the slightly larger/better screen since I need a lot of real estate and my eyes aren't so great. Plus if I ever want to go multi monitor plus screen.
