E aware that these are not the sturdy top holders, but just thin plastic sleeves. They are not going to offer any substantial protection.

I see reviewers complaining that the holders aren't thick, but that is correct. They are FOR thick cards, the plastic itself is not thick. Are you seeing negatives beside that?

These are sleeves you put cards into before putting them into a top loader or card guard. They will mostly just prevent surface scratches, fingerprints or other damage to the surface of the card.

Latex provides the best protection when you need to sleeve up.
