Yes, that's kinda how it's been for a while now afaik...
Some have claimed you can cancel individual items (like OP), but I've never been able to and seems like most are in that same boat. Either buy both & return or ship unwanted item to different store and only pickup the item you want.
FYI, pre-tax this makes it $355 for chainsaw kit & $193 for 12AH battery
The 16 inch Dewalt 60v chainsaw with 3ah 60v battery isn't hackable but is on sale for $320.
Might be a better options depending on your needs.
