Recommendations for 5.1 surround sound receiver and subwoofer amp

So, I have two separate 1990's state of the art (lol) 5.1 setups with quality speakers and large passive subwoofers (toby brand from ft worth, if you are familiar with them).
Anyway, both of those were powered by state of the art (then) kenwood separate pre-amps and amps which have since bitten the dust. The amps had two-wire speaker outputs for the subwoofers but I see that idea is no more and instead you need a separate amp.
So, I am looking for a decent integrated receiver/amp and I guess a separate amp that has two-wire speaker wire out for sub. I need two of each. Not sure between brands like denon, pyle, etc.
Either way, I need two receivers and two subwoofer amps. Budget maybe $300 total for each system? $600 (or less) for both?
TIA for any help or education as technology has passed me by long ago.
