Braveheart
- Braveheart is the partly historical, partly mythological, story of William Wallace, a Scottish common man who fights for his country's freedom from English rule. This is a brawling, richly detailed saga of fierce combat and tender love.
Gladiator
- Before his death, the Emperor chooses Maximus to be his heir over his own son, Commodus, and a power struggle leaves Maximus and his family condemned to death. The powerful general is unable to save his family, and his loss of will allows him to get captured and put into the Gladiator games until he dies. The only desire that fuels him now is the chance to rise to the top so that he will be able to look into the eyes of the man who will feel his revenge.

Ridley Scott did make a sequel that comes out at the end of this year with Denzel Washington in it and focuses on Maximus's son.

Two of my top ten movies. It's funny thinking about how this generation was introduced to Joaquin Phoenix as The Joker and loving him. While my generation was introduced to him as Commodus and hating every fiber of his being. Good actor

For those that like these types of movies, you really should see Kingdom of Heaven the Directors cut.
The Directors cut is an entirely different (and much longer) movie. Another Ridley Scott masterpiece.

Just FYI, this two-pack is also available in UHD (not 4k) for $2 through Vudu's D2D program. Of course if you're actually going to watch both of these again it's probably worth the extra $6 to get max resolution. Either way, if you've got a big collection it's a little annoying to have them display together as a bundle instead of as individual movies.
