the refurbished OLEDs from DELL come with a 90-day limited warranty, should be written in the description

the new ones have a 3 year warranty on burn in

It's fine, Samsung's working on the subpixel arrangement for QD-OLED (they updated it for 2nd gen and this 3rd gen panel is the same) but this one is clearer mainly because of the resolution. It's better than the AW3423DW I've used for programming for a while but I've never been particularly bothered by the text clarity on that one either.

Dell's estimates are usually pretty accurate unless it's a brand new product or says it'll deliver on a weekend. I've spoken with Dell multiple times and they've confirmed the couriers they use won't deliver on Sundays. If it's a brand new product it'll say within a week but realistically might take many weeks (as my AW3423DW did)

Received mine Saturday in great physical shape (exceeded expectations). That said, pixel and panel refresh maintenance routines consistently fail. Can't improve Panel Health status from yellow to green even with latest firmware update and factory reset. Called Dell and they can't verify any warranty on my service tag (Problem 1). They also said panel health problem is hardware issue and monitor will need to be replaced (Problem 2). Hope others had better luck with this than I did…

Thanks for sharing. Says a lot about quality control risks for a $800/$1200 monitor with a limited 90 day warranty.

Are you able to recalibrate the monitor? Sounds like yours is off calibration and may need a colorimeter or spectrum analyzer to calibrate a new LUT. And are you able to replace with another one your you need to refund .

I ordered on Wed. 5/15 and it said it would be delivered on Tues. 5/21. It was shipped on Thur. 5/16 and I received it Fri. 5/17. It was shipped UPS Ground and I was very surprised it came overnight. I could be crazy, but I feel like some vendors get preferential treatment by UPS depending on the volume they do.

Mine arrived yesterday. The stand was in perfect condition. But I could tell clearly it is a used monitor with some threading marks where the stand goes behind the monitor. But the biggest issue were the fine line scratches on the bottom left portion of the screen. Tried to capture it the best I could with my camera. They are worst than what shows in the image. Working on an advanced exchange. Sigh.

Came today, running it through paces now. Took a few try's to get the firmware updated but other than that I feel like I hit the motherload. Screen is perfect, all feature work, seems great. We'll see what more testing may show but right now really happy.

Sorry for the late reply. The return process is simple, they send the refurbished monitor advance replacement, the refurbished monitor comes in a brown box with a pre-paid return label in a pouch on the side. You can either schedule UPS to come pick it up, or take it to a UPS dropoff location. I elected to drop it off so I don't have a $1200 monitor sitting on my doorstep while I'm away.

So it was easy to return, but costs some time and gas if you have to take it to UPS. And annoying that their system randomly canceled my RMA after 10 days.

Also if you don't return the original monitor within 10 days then they charge your credit card for the advance replacement.

How was the screen? Any scratches, imperfections? I just unboxed mine today and it has some micro scratches/defects, so I think I'll need to request a replacement.
