Not even close. That one has a Ryzen 5 7640HS processor (rather than Ryzen 7 8845HS), 1920x1200 WUXGA 144Hz 300nits display (rather than QHD+ 2560x1600 WQXGA+ 165Hz 350nits), 2x8GB RAM (rather than 1x16GB), 512GB NVMe (rather than 1TB), and RTX 4060 (rather than RTX 4070).

This one, for the same price at Walmart, looks to be the same except that it has a 500nit screen vs 350nit screen in the OP. Am I missing something or would it be better to just get the Walmart one?

Upon further research, it looks like Walmart has the listing/specs wrong. This model number: 83DH003TUS is listed as 350nits on Lenovo's website even though Walmart says 500nits. Proceed with caution - not the first time we have seen a lot of confusion on nits/screens.

I have the Pro 5 Gen 8 with 32 gigs of ram but the AMD Ryzen™ 7 7745HX Processor and it runs great. It stays cool, really has great thermals. I run it plugged into an LG C3 42 inch most of the time and can run most games at good or quality settings. Youre not going to run game in 4k at 6o fps, like Alan Wake ,2 but it still looks damn good.
