Bought this when it first came out. Didn't realize how small it was till I actually got it delivered. If you think it's going to be small,….it is. Probably smaller than you expect.

Perfect size for a quick s'mores making, but other than that, not really sure how useful it is.

I also bought the Mesa XL when it was available. The XL is tremendously superior and is the perfect small size.

The XL is great, but I am disappointed in my regular Mesa.

I actually like my mesa quite a lot, but yeah it's sort of a novelty and for enjoying watching the fire moreso than for creating warmth.

Mesa XL 2-pack is on clearance in store only at select Costcos for $80 (I have seen them at multiple locations, but still YMMV)

Do these actually keep bugs away, or are they too small for even that?

I don't think that it would do much to keep bugs away.

I paid $100 for one long ago. It's so tiny. $30 is about the right price. Can warm up a cup of coffee maybe

I bought it last time. I am not sure if it was only me, but it came without the bundle, no pellets, or starter

I'm not impressed but kiddos like it for Smores or just ambiance. For Smores I'd use a butane/propane torch, but it is okay on projector movie nights using top lit pellets. Lasts about an hour and kids can drop some more in.

Bought this last time, nice looking little ( very little ) firepit, we used it for smores one night just a little bundle of twigs makes it last an hour or two.

I don't think I'd pay over $30 for this, we already had a duraflame one I bought at a local store ( bargain hunt ) for like $15 prior both are pretty comparable to each other.
