I carry monopoly money for those situations... see, I use my hand to stuff a mostly-concealed monopoly bill in the tip jar as I'm being handed my bag of food... everybody happy.

And for those who might find offense at this tactic, the bible verse reference i write at the top of the bill is worth far more than an actual buck, if taken to heart and used wisely.

Any other hacks like this? Lol. Definitely using this one for the Mrs. She's all for deals like me.
There's still plenty of meat on that bone. Now you take this home, throw it in a pot, add some broth, a potato. Baby, you've got a stew going!

Good lord. Let's make anywhere you can order a Kids meal its own deal? I have been doing this for decades.

Smashburger's Kids meal is the same size as an adults. For $7.95, you get a burger (but cannot modify much besides bun and cheese), fries, and a drink.

Used to work there. Always had surcharge when adults ordered kids meals which was a deterrent. Might not get away with it for too long.
speaking of surcharges, we went to OG, and they wanted to charge me an extra $4 because I wanted an extra plate for the salad.

Go to online pickup area at chipotle and pick up the biggest bag you can find and that's a free dinner
Or just walk into the grocery store, load up your cart with steaks and anything else you want for dinner and roll out without paying. Same thing. Stores around where I live don't do a single thing about shoplifters anymore. All the liquor is locked up because of it.

There's youtube videos about these ideas. Problem is a lot of time it really isn't a deal. It's a lot smaller . This seems like a deal.

Too embarrassed to dine in? They give you off menu special sauce to go.
Most places have an age limit and won't let adults order from the kids menu when dining in.

The reason kids meal is well done only is because the kids' steaks dont start out red.

Exactly. I'm all about taking care of someone serving me, but things are high enough already. If I'm just picking up, there's no tip or very little tip.
I have a question for you and for everyone who cares to answer. Here in CA the minimum wage increased a few weeks ago, and most restaurants reacted and upped their menu prices. My wife and I regularly go to our favorite sushi place that is now more expensive than it was before the minimum wage adjustment. We always order the same items. Would you feel bad about tipping less now because the wait staff is getting more money from their employer?

That'll show those underpaid service workers!
The sane states don't have a different minimum wage for tipped employees. In those states its really no different than not tipping any other min wage employee.

The only changes in wages that went into effect in the last few weeks were for fast food workers and would not apply to a sit down sushi restaurant. The prices are up either due to inflation or the upcoming junk fee ban coming up in July.

So your premise is flawed.
