They used to have this, nearly identical, deal at Longhorn. Looks like August 2023 was the last time I got it. We'd do one adult steak meal and three kids meals.

Looked at my last carryout email from there.

Kid's Sirloin $9.99
• Kid's Steak Temps: Medium Well
• Side Choice: Sweet Potato
• Butter
• Cinnamon/Sugar
• Kid Beverage: Cranberry Juice

I take full credit for causing them to remove it from their menu. Sorry everyone.

However, our go-to steak carryout these days, when I'm lazy, is from Texas Roadhouse.

Family Sized Sirloins (cooked medium)
$47.99 for two 8-ounce steaks and two 6-ounce steaks, plus salad, four individual sides, and rolls and butter (like 8 or so usually)

Might wanna mention the fact that you can only get the steak well done, which is a hard pass for me (and many).
I guess we should just ignore the numerous times it was posted before you did it, then!

That'll show those underpaid service workers!
If they feel they're so underpaid they can always find another job. I don't subsidize people's poor life choices.

I wonder why Well done only.
Likely because a kid has no damn idea how they want their steak and if you allowed them to get say a rare steak they'd scream unless their parents taught them proper steak temps and flavors.

So much easier to just go "well done" and keep it moving

I thought they banned the kids meal scam years ago. I had heard that Outback had caught on and changed the takeout rules on it.

It all went downhill at Outback when they started adding water and switched to frozen beef from 3rd world countries.
Yeesh…really? References? That's terrible if they went that cheap to import beef into the US. Who does that?
