I've had a version of this mower now for 4 Summers, if you have the time to push mow a lawn that takes an hour, then this may not be the mower for you. I mow about 1/3 acre front yard with mine and don't ever get the low light, plus the mower is dead silent.

I will probably never go back to a Gass push mower, this is just too convenient. I just pull the battery off charger and mow, never need to run to the gas station for it.

I scooped this up the last time the price was this low. Beware that some of the reviews/pics/videos are of the 2135 not the 2125 (this one) and this does not come with dual blade select cut that mulches so well that you allegedly don't have to bag.

I was disappointed.

However, this plowed through high grass and seemed to bulk up power (got louder) when it needed to far better than my much older model without dying. I've had gas mowers that couldn't do this.

Keep sniffing gas fumes and ruining your hearing if you want, this one clearly tops a regular gas mower though. Not to mention no maintenance and takes 1/3 the footprint when storing.

I haven't had a single issue with EGO, got the mower in 2020 and it's worked for years now, got a trimmer, and then the snowblower. It's so much better than gas with no gas smell and simple charging.

Only downside I've ever had, is that it sounds like an RV car. But honestly, once you commit to the brand, it becomes a whole lot easier, especially with the QTY of batteries you get (all size batteries work in all products). Waiting for the pressure washer on backorder without batteries next.

1h run, it can't finish my front yard. And wait…. 60 min when the battery is in original quality. You never know next charge it will drop down to 59 min. And wait, what if the battery doesn't hold the charge any more. How much for the new battery.

It won't fly with me. Good luck for those smarteee out there buying new tech / new power garden tools
Can't speak for EGO, but I have the 80v Green works mower that generally is considered "lesser" than the EGO equivalent.

Bought it in 2017, along with two other tools (string trimmer and leaf blower). The mower and blower are both awesome, the string trimmer is unwieldy and uncomfortable to use.

But the reason I am posting is to say that after 7 years of heavy use I can't see any reduction in my batteries at all. And 3 is the magic number as they charge in 20 minutes and the fastest I can run one down is 10-12 (leaf blower on max speed). The lawn mower generally does my entire 1/3 acre of grass unless I let it go long and it is a bit wet, then I get about 3/4 of the way done before it dies.

Same, returned and got Toro instead. Cuts much better. Battery charges slow (3hrs) but in my experience holds up much better than Ego batteries.
U returned a used mower to Amazon?

Can't mow your front yard in an hour? Okay, Richie Rich, stick with your gas powered--for now. In 10 years time, you'll be arrested for using a gas mower. EGO is expensive, although not for this land owner, but quality. If you can mow your lawn in under an hour like the rest of us hoi polloi, I highly rec this product.
LMAO, if they start trying to arrest people for using gas mowers, then the country is far beyond saving, or will be at civil war by that point.

I had been eying this mower because Ego is the brand to have supposedly. I went with an older brushless Greenworks 80v mower that is currently on sale at Amazon for $384. 80v vs 58v? No brainer. Outside of that, the battery is half the price of the mower.

Nice deal 🤝 👍

up to 60min of run time is not great but not bad since folks will probably have less than an acre.
Guess you can walk faster and Time your pace to get a decent heart rate during the mow

I've had this mower since 2020 it is a great mower but the battery is not great. It no longer charges. It says it's charged but it doesn't run the mower and the replacement is insanely expensive. It have done exactly as directed with the battery I am unsure why it just stopped.

Why does anything electric powered bring out the crazies?

I have this one. Battery is degraded after 3 years. Replacement generic on Amazon is $200 or so. It does a pretty good job. If the lawn is thick, it will need a charge to finish the last little bit (I have about 1/4 acre). I sharpened the blades once since owning it as well. It could cut better but I am not about to spend several hundred dollars just to replace it.

Is it necessary to buy a 2-3-year protective warranty if it comes with a 3-4-year limited warranty from the manufacturer?
