Made in China!
China makes some good rice so it's okay.
I hate that the smaller one is more expensive. I just don't need to make 10 cups of rice ever.

I see that this Costco 5.5cup Tiger cooker (made in Japan) goes on sale once in awhile for $20 off but even regular price at $100 seems good:
https://www.costco.com/tiger-5.5-...10800.html

Would this sale be worth waiting for? I have the Zojirushi made in Japan version and the teflon pot is starting to get scratched and I will not spend $70+ for a replacement.

Thanks for this. Instore is $90 and today I had fresh rice even though my (made in Japan) zoji had just broke after less than 5 years.

I bought this one.

It makes rice like it should. A few notes

-It doesn't play a sound when finished cooking
-Only up to 5 cups

A decade at least if it was equal or better than my first Tiger.... Take care of a good rice maker and it becomes part of your family.
