YMMV i purchased 2 and was able to Bypass port requirement it only needs text verification to order. After getting device activate on total website click activate at top of page>One you've purchased through Total Wireless>I want a newer number. Plan is tied to phone IMEI when activating.

That said I have been burnt enough times and learnt the hard way to stay away from them. At least with Metro the system rejects orders beforehand. With Tracfone the issues happen after you get the phone…if something goes wrong in activation the customer service outrigjt lies and wastes your time .
That was NOT my case a few months ago, I needed to talk to CSR for unlocking.
The camera is good but not splendid. The screen looks good but has lagged touch register/none-register issue. Overall this phone is buggy and not worth the MSRP of $699. $100 seems like a fair price if you don't have other choice.

I'd turn off 120hz and 5G even if this was a S24Ultra - those features basically give me nothing and just use battery, so why have them on?
My eyes can't tell the difference between 60hz and 120hz. Maybe when gaming, but I don't play games on my phone.
5G doesn't give more real world speed for stuff I do, but I still like to have it, because 5G coverage will gradually get better and 4G will gradually get worse. Right now, 4G coverage is better, so I'm best leaving it off. Sometimes my phone gets hooked on a weak 5G signal when there is a stronger 4G signal available. The extra 5G speed is more for big files or having a home-wifi-hotspot with several devices running off your connection. It's just overkill for a single phone.
On a high end phone, I might keep RAM boost and animations though.

Finally, a 120Hz display is noticeable by most people. I would not buy a phone without it. My iPad Pro has ProMotion that is so poorly implemented, many apps don't use it and it's definitely noticeable but my S23 is beautifully smooth and fast as is my iPhone 13 PM and Tab S9 (all have 120Hz displays).

BTW, I was able to use a Google Voice number for the initial eligibility check.
I first tried using a TextNow number, but they want $1.99 a month to receive OTP verifications.
