When I spoke with the TMobile rep, she said that you cannot get away from removing the $15 extra data plan. If you do remove it, you really have NO data in your line. It also does not allow her to fall back into the data that should have come with our SC plan. For the time being, I 've kept my $15 extra data plan until I get my hands on the new phones.
Does anyone try this with the new line of service w/o the $15 data plan? Do you fall back to having the SC default data of 2.5GB or 4GB on the line?
Call 611 and speak to retention or tforce and they should mirror what you have on your other data lines

This has to be done in the Go 5G Plus or Next plan

I called in today and ended up talking to a non-US call center to handle my request. The rep was pretty helpful and had his supervisor approved and changed my lines data plan.
I originally had the 2.5GB SC plan on current account and all of the lines were 'upgraded' when T-Mobile gave us unlimited data. So when I inquire now to have the $25 6GB SC data removed on those 2 new lines and default back to my account's data plan, they ended up giving me this Data addon called:
SC 4/100 3GB Data & SMHS $0.00/mo
Compare to what I have in my existing lines
Unlimited Data with 4GB Smartphone Mobile Hotspot$0.00/mo
I will probably call in again to see if I can get applied with the unlimited option to match the rest of my SC lines, but 3GB is fine for usage of those lines for just $0.

I am already a simple plan tmobile customer, i would like to understand the steps that you followed especially for step 2
Step 1 : Get the google voice no.
Step 2 : While getting the google voice no., it asks for an existing US no. , can i still give my existing t-mobile no. ? This is where I am not sure if this is going to be an issue if i were to associate the google voice with my primary t-mobile cell no.
Step 3: Assuming step 2 is not an issue then go on google voice and proceed by paying $3
Step4: Go ahead and click slickdeals link and chose iphone 14 or 14 plus and specify the google voice no. on t-mobile order page
