Sweetwater has a bunch of Fender Custom Shop guitars on sale for the next two days. I've never seen such a big price drop on Custom Shop models, so I wouldn't be surprised if they go fast.
Some further details on this offer (per sweetwater) - limit is one redemption per customer, and the offer ends December 31st 2024.
If you're interested in something and it's not rare, discontinued, or an extreme deal you might be better off waiting for other sales during the year since MF / GC also appear to be doing the 10% off thing, and you might be able to stack the discounts during special sales.
The MI market is saturated right now. Companies overproduced during covid then demand dried up and they've been forced to cancel orders and cut their inflated prices. Better deals can probably be had if you're patient.

I think you'd be hard pressed to find another deal on a Custom Shop for nearly 40% off.

I was speaking in general across the whole fender / squier line. Like I said, if it's a really good deal (combined with another discount etc) then it could be worth it. But if it's a 10% discount on a strat that they make a bajillion of each year then you have 7 months (including black friday) for a better deal to come along.

IMO, Fender CS guitars are overpriced at MSRP, but at 3.5k it's more align with their worth. Good deal!
