It is in fact long gone. I purchased the last one from my local Costco for $12 bucks a month or so back, they said they cleared these from inventory and aren't restocking.
I happen to stumble upon one between shelving. It didn't even have a barcode, they had to look it up.

Picked up a bagged chicken today and they still had stock and again no indication of clearing it out or that it wouldn't be restocked (no * and still priced at 0.99 not 0.97 0.00 or some other pricepoint that would indicate EOL.)

Nice grab on your part but in the PNW definitely not gone.
