So I got to do a number of different play testing with him and our friend community. I will say for what it is it is really good. Ravensburger outside of Villainous publishes what I think are a lot of repetitive games (Jaws/Horrified) that once you play it 1-3 times you are pretty much done with it.
In this case you have to play this 8 times, but the first scenario you can easily lose on your first play through. So factor you want to play it about 10ish times. After that maybe not as great, but for 17 dollars that is a pretty good value.
Also the time to table is really good. Think is basically an intro to RPG like games, but I don't know if its a gloomhaven lite?
If I didn't have one of his copies I would pick another one up. But anyone who reads the link above and wants to support his work I think the 17 is worth it.

Interesting format and I'm a sucker for LOTR games in general.
Thought of Jaws of the Lion as soon as I saw it.
