Never seen it go below 900 for the OLED, can you link to a time that it did?

Also the OLED is supposedly worse for text clarity.

Just got this from samsung directly for about $650 (including taxes, free shipping) with a EPP discount. Its been great so far, but if the OLED version hits this price, i'm definitely ordering that.

I have the OLED and it was less than 5 mins of tweaking settings to fix the text clarity issues.

That doesn't look like it can be reproduced. You have anything that isn't extreme ymmv?

Something the average SDer can get, otherwise it isn't relevant.

Worse for text clarity, worse for brightness, worse for burn in... yeah, no thanks. It is better for accurate black and color reproduction they say, but I bought it for gaming and it looks phenomenal.

The OLED also has the less curvey 1800 curve vs this screen listed is 1000R curve, easier to see the whole screen without moving your head .

Yea honestly, i wouldn't bother until it drops to or below 500. Will post when it does if others can replicate as well.

Same price as BB. Haven't tried it but can you do the monitor recycle to get the price down another 10%? That would put you at $720+tax. Pretty nice price for those that don't qualify for EDU or EPP.

I agree completely. My post was not clear. I bought the non oled one, the more curvy one, and it is perfect. I also got the 4 year warranty with it.
