To others: MSRP is $49.99 from LEGO. This not truly 40% savings; it's a 20% savings.

This set was a really disappointing build. One of the very few IDEAS sets I do not recommend and I have them all.

Does Amazon normally mark up the MSRP of items to make the discount appear larger? Seems pretty deceptive.

This is a $50 set from Lego everyday. No one should be paying $67 for it.

Was it too boring? I was thinking it will look nice as wall art.

I bought last time at $40 and it is a nice piece of decoration. I like it but feel it should have been a bit cheaper even yet

Worst AFOL set of 2023 nominee. Horrible build they break it up into 4 instruction books so friends and family can partake in the misery. The element choices are subpar especially the omission of 1x1 black bricks for the ones with holes, oh and the Technic 1x12 beams X 8 are ridiculous to apply. The instructions even with color guidelines are not easy to follow due to printing and at the END of the rocket launch subset they give you 3 alternative constellation builds from the default Big Dipper that would require you to breakdown half the build. Hopefully they display nice on the wall the reason I bought them. The reviews are great on this set but I would avoid it at all cost, well 50% off would be nice, to build.

The Insects set is amazing with 3 unique builds that display excellently.

As much as I still like the final product (from an art/style standpoint), I must agree with the above critiques of the build. The "alternate constellations" idea is just silly, for the reason stated, and those beams (while useful for the overall strength of the finished model) were quite difficult to install, even for an experienced builder.

Makes it seem like you're getting a deal here.

I've been watching this set for awhile now, hoping it would drop below $40.

It was $40 for quite some time now

Somehow, I doubt this is the most overpriced Lego set- though it certainly feels like it.

Huh. I found the build okay myself. A little repetitive but it was nice to be able to split it over 4 days and have a completed picture after each one. The instructions have color references, which made it pretty easy to use the right color. With so few pieces, each picture is done in half an hour, limiting any frustration.

I don't care about Star Wars or space sets generally, but I liked the aesthetic of this space themed set. It's a set you can display tastefully in an area that gets guests without looking like a weirdo Smilie
