Ordered!!!!

Absolutely spectacular deal for the G4. I had no idea I had partner store access, but the wife is a teacher with a verified ID.me account and that was all it took. $3087 shipped with VA tax for 77" G4.

GT had been down as low as $2850ish for the 77" G3, and I had been hoping to get costco in the $3000 range plus tax. But this is unheard of for the G4 which wasn't even on my radar. I'm sure its not a $1000 upgrade over the G3, but a G4 at this premium over bottom dollar G3 prices can't be beat.

HUGE THANKS to the OP!

This is a great deal. Once again people downvoting because they don't have access to partner store.

2897 for G4 77 with wall mount is hilariously good given the best deal for G3 77 was 2842 from greentoe without wall mount.

Wow, you just said a lot without saying anything valuable or of substance.

Has anyone been able to use Apple Pay or Mastercard to pay successfully? My credit card keeps getting declined despite having more than $6000 credit.

Yeah you have to go to an iOS device and then physically click approve on the transaction. Then you can redo it. But yeah, my Apple virtual MC number was first declined, but then I approved it and re-ran and went fine.

I purchased on the 20th, charge posted on May 25th, and Amex cashback posted to my account on the 27th. Delivery date is set for 6/18, order status is still "awaiting shipping".

I would think you'll be good on the cashback, given that you got the email, and your invoice will show an order date within the date range on the offer. I've had to follow up with Amex once or twice with similar situations, and it's never been an issue.
I just called LG and Amex. I placed my order on 5/21 and the order still says processing. LG hasn't charged the card yet and the 4% offer expires 5/31. LG told me they authorized the payment on 5/21 but won't charge the card because the TV is now backordered. Amex tells me if there is no charge before the offer expires I won't qualify for the 4% cashback.

Having said that, I don't think LG will charge the card by tomorrow 5/31 and I won't get the 4% bc the charge will show up after the 5/31 deadline for the offer. I hope I'm wrong though because I would be missing out on an extra $200. I received an email from AMEX stating "You recently used your Amex Offer: lg.com," but if customer service is telling me the card has to be charged then I don't know what will happen at this point.

Settings, Wallet/apple pay, apple card, transactions, click on the red recent decline, click review and then approve if i recall correctly.

You can also click the apple card notification that should pop up, but if you don't have notifications for Apple Card enabled, you wouldn't have seen that

I'm in a similar boat as many. Bought the 83, with a delivery date of 7/5. The pending charge has disappeared from my capital one. If I get it for free great. I doubt that happens.

Yeah same boat for me. I've had this happen before and AMEX didn't give me the credit, but I didn't fight too hard. Also, keep an eye out, as the LG offer is common with AMEX, so it might reappear in your account before the order gets processed. That's what I'm crossing my fingers for.

Hi, I ordered a G4 83 inch on 5/22 and I have no update as to the status of the order...I called LG and they have just told me that the unit is backordered with no idea on when the unit will be back in stock.
Thanks to you and others for sharing the info about their order fulfillment. I'd been checking the partner site frequently for a restock as some had said was happening. Now I know that's very unlikely - if even those that got orders in are having difficulty getting their orders fulfilled - and the second half of this sale was effectively a non-sale.

Speculation: maybe LG stopped the line/shipment to fix the issue mentioned here or some other?

Ordered the G4 65 inch on May 25 initial delivery date was June 3rd. Checked order status it said processing. Just got off the phone with LG told the lady i need to plan for a delivery date. She looked in her system and gave me an ETA of 6/10. I assume this is just an overseas call center and only give informationthats on their computer. I told her it said in stock on the webpage. She just blew me off sorry sir. Oh well I'll wait for this deal.

I used the 4% AMEX offer for this purchase but I just discovered my Bank of America card has a 15% offer for LG purchases.

Edit:
Looks like LG partner store purchases aren't eligible for the Bank of America offer.

See terms; It states that the orders placed on LG partner store are not eligible.
