Absolutely spectacular deal for the G4. I had no idea I had partner store access, but the wife is a teacher with a verified ID.me account and that was all it took. $3087 shipped with VA tax for 77" G4.

GT had been down as low as $2850ish for the 77" G3, and I had been hoping to get costco in the $3000 range plus tax. But this is unheard of for the G4 which wasn't even on my radar. I'm sure its not a $1000 upgrade over the G3, but a G4 at this premium over bottom dollar G3 prices can't be beat.

This is a great deal. Once again people downvoting because they don't have access to partner store.

2897 for G4 77 with wall mount is hilariously good given the best deal for G3 77 was 2842 from greentoe without wall mount.

Same here. Got a text message from LX Pantos and scheduled delivery of my 83" for 6/25. Crossing fingers that date holds up. I did notice I have a pending charge for the TV on my car again.

It's expired, and they likely won't run a deal like that again for a while. I suspect they ran this low of a discount because of the HDMI issue, they were having a hard time moving units. Now that they have issued a firmware fix, all prices went up across all retailers. Next sales will be either 4th of July or late Oct.

The LG Partner store is a mess anyways, you're better off putting in a bid on Greentoe and get the TV for a relatively low price.

Just a comment on the Handy service, can't complain too much but I'm just as handy. They had no idea of the tv they were installing, did not use the blue/ red stickers or the paper layout. They didn't go crazy trying to get it flush and cabling was just wire ties. I was a little nervous just because they were winging it. They were nice but didn't do their homework. I can't complain since it was free. Part of the problem is LG cable management brings all the hdmi cables down the left side of the tv so it's not all their fault . Just my 2 cents. Picture is ok, uhd looks pretty sweet.

I was nervous about this—I generally prefer to do my own work, but wife said she was not going to help hang a heavy TV (again, lol), so I need the help.

I wanted to cut a hole in the drywall between the studs to install one of those boxes that allow bypass behind the wall for power and HDMI—but need the template to know where to install. Maybe I'll do all that before the Handy guys come, and then just have them help me hang?

My 77 G4 order from 5/28 arrived today. Unfortunately cant set up until tomorrow. But, It's here though!

Edit: and she is set up. Looks great so far.

What's the benefit of using earc with the arc? I'm not using a 2.1 hdmi with my arc, but i do get dolby sound with my regular 2.0 cable, so i just assumed i'm already getting the best sound i can.

I believe it's a higher bandwidth that supports things like lossless Dolby Atmos. I was actually referring to the LG problem with the e-arc port people have been reporting. I had no problem on the 77 G4.
