Absolutely spectacular deal for the G4. I had no idea I had partner store access, but the wife is a teacher with a verified ID.me account and that was all it took. $3087 shipped with VA tax for 77" G4.
GT had been down as low as $2850ish for the 77" G3, and I had been hoping to get costco in the $3000 range plus tax. But this is unheard of for the G4 which wasn't even on my radar. I'm sure its not a $1000 upgrade over the G3, but a G4 at this premium over bottom dollar G3 prices can't be beat.
HUGE THANKS to the OP!
2897 for G4 77 with wall mount is hilariously good given the best deal for G3 77 was 2842 from greentoe without wall mount.

Yeah, mine was the same, seems to mean your stuff is packed awaiting transport or being transported to the regional delivery service. From what I observed, your order will change to complete (once dropped off to regional delivery service) and then you have to wait for the delivery service to call/text/email and schedule delivery

The TV has finally been delivered and mounted— a month after purchase. Delivery service gave an 8hour window of when they would arrive (two days before the day of delivery) and a 10 minute warning before they made the delivery. For those of you that got the free mounting, be very wary of Handy service. Handy basically contracts with random individuals who are doing odd jobs for cash. My mounters were 10ish minutes late and showed no care for my home or the TV. The TV was mounted pretty crooked (they used a level but very improperly) and I'll now have to pay to get it redone. They were mostly worried about getting in and out on time to go to another Handy mounting appointment. It feels insane that the mounting service was somehow a "deal" and worth $180 in the first place.
Will all of that being said, the TV looks good. I returned an A80L for this and although this is a step up in some ways (brighter), I am definitely missing the Sony colors, motion, image clarity and UI (although I use an AppleTV for streaming, the Sony UI was very intuitive for screen changes and LG's is the opposite of that).

Yeah i cancelled the handy service, didnt want to mess with randoms. i found a reviewed local to come over and help (via thumbtack), my work was simple, charged me $80, and thats all he does all day is mount and help people install their TVs. He was in and out, low stress.
I activated the offer and ordered an 83" on 5/22. I'm eagerly awaiting the estimated delivery of 6/25. The purchase was pending on my Citi DoubleCash card for a few days after ordering but has since disappeared. LG still shows the order status as processing.
My Citi offer came through in the form of a credit and here's the kicker. I placed the order on 05/31 and the transaction was on hold pending shipping. It was't until a week later that I found out about Citi's offer on the app and added it to my account thinking it couldn't hurt. Fast forward to a week ago, the charge posted and they shipped the TV (83" G4). 2 days later I received a credit from "Merchant Offers Credit NY" for $185 which comes to exactly 4% of the purchase price (including tax and extended warranty). So this is proof that it doesn't matter if you add a promotion to the Citi app after pulling the trigger on a purchase. As long as it hasn't posted yet, it will count.
I just got a voicemail saying "we regret to inform you that due to unforeseen shipping delays the delivery of your appliance will not occur as anticipated. We will contact you when the order is expected to ship. Contact LG at [phone number]. Thank you for your business and patience."
Has anyone else received this voicemail? I'll call LG soon but not expecting much info from them.
Edit: just called LG and they said they have no idea when the TV will be delivered since it is currently backordered. They said there is still a chance it will deliver on 6/25 but they don't know and it depends on when the shipping company receives the TV. The shipping company will eventually contact me with a delivery date once they receive the TV. I found my order number on RXO's site and see they still show 6/25 delivery, though. Meanwhile, my credit card was charged nearly 2 weeks ago and my Handy appointment is scheduled for 6/27. LG order status is still "Processing". Communication from LG has been very poor, but I'm still looking forward to getting tv (eventually, I hope).
