Yes. Very uncomfortable. As one poster stated, you can wear longer socks, but you will still feel it always rubbing/catching. I like to wear low cut/no show socks any way.
Same here. Got them directly from adidas in a different color earlier this year and made the mistake to wear them the first time with low cut socks when I had hours of walking to do. I had to stop at a store and buy longer socks because I had scuffed away all skin on the higher part of my Achilles after a few hours of walking.
