I remember thinking that if this unit were to ever drop to $1500, I'd be all over it. Now, I'm going to wait and see how much further all these Lifepo units will drop.
Not if you have solar panels.
But that deal is a really sketchy no-name brand, whereas Anker is renowned.

What if the electric power goes off for more than one day? This will become junk?
Yes, you need to plan a way to recharge power station. solar, gas generator or car alternator. I have Delta 2 as AC inverter supplying backup for 4 AC lines ( fridges, home Internet, lights, computers) and few spare 1k lifepo4 from trolling motor, gas generator, and 500W car alternator as options to quickly recharge delta 2. I have no solar and I have no space to install solar panels field .
I've looked into solar for my house since I live in hurricane territory and what I was told by the installer company is that the solar panels will NOT power your house during an outage because the bidirectional meter doesnt allow solar panels to power a house if there is no grid power.

Although true, with my limited understanding, people usually have a home battery backup on a subpanel/transfer switch. This allows the solar to run and recharge the battery/home without ever having to send power to the utility grid
Of course, but $1300 still working after 2 years is way better than $500 failing after 1. Anyway, who knows? I could totally be wrong. Hopefully someone reports back about how reliable this brand is at some point.

Ecoflow delta 2 max with 220 watt solar power for 1250 via qvc or this? Plus qvc has extra 2kw battery for 800. Delta 2 has 2 solar inputs also,, but no 30 amp 220v like Anker. Also no wheels. Thoughts?
Could you hook this up to a transfer switch for partial home backup purposes?
Yes. It is possible. There are a lot of variables to consider though. I've essentially done that, but 2kwh won't get you too far. You have to be strategic about what you have it hooked up to. It is nice if you don't like pulling your fridge out of it's kitchen resting location to plug it in to one of these types of units.

I don't think that 2000wh will make it through the night with two refrigerators hooked up to it.
With the doors closed, you should make it through the night with no power.
I'm holding for $1000 😀
