That's probably because I don't think very many people are buying these. They are enormous and most people don't have the desk space. There is 10% cashback on Samsung monitors available right now if someone is considering this, dropping price to $1336.

Seen one in person at Microcenter, I have absolutely no idea how you use this on a normal desk - a lot of the advertisements as well as the setup I saw had it vertical where it is effectively 3 27" monitors stacked on top of each other.

And apparently that thing is a POS. I am torn between the 55" ark and the 57" G9. I have a single input so I think that puts me in the 57" zone instead. the cockpit mode is neat but likely wouldnt be used often at all.

Agreed, the Gen 1 had some bad limitations. The Gen 2 was quite an improvement.

2nd gen is showing $1549.97.

Probably a better purchase at this point. Definitely worth the 65 dollar difference.
