Musician's Friend has the Fender Player Stratocaster HSS Plus Top Limited-Edition Electric Guitar in Blue Burst for $599.99, with free shipping and 8% Musician's Friend rewards.
This is slightly higher than a previous deal from 9 weeks ago, but these are new not open box. (At least they're supposed to be. This is Musician's Friend we're talking about.)
Great option for a really attractive Strat with more versatility thanks to the bridge humbucker. The lower tone control also applies to the bridge pickup.
Finally, this is a Player Strat, not a Player Plus. The "Plus" goes with "Top".

Is the stigma around a humbucker on a strat so strong that they have to hide that second coil?
lol now I gotta think about this. My ultra HSS has a humbucker and 2 noiseless pickups.... which are... basically humbuckers. Oh shit my guitar is HHH lol.
Those stacked pickups sound different than the regular humbucker does though.
To be fair, HSS (even if it's effectively HHH) looks better than actual HHH does. HHH looks funky. Some people may like that. I'm not sure lol. I think HH is cool.
What would be truly short bus special is putting the humbucker on a HSS crooked like they do when they put a regular pickup in the bridge position.
Worth noting that the Player series Strats are routed for HSH under the pickguard. So if you end up not liking HSS you can always get a new pickguard and swap to something else.
This is a much better deal. Be aware the black one comes with pau ferro, not roasted maple. You're basically getting an amazing Strat for the cost of the pickups and neck alone. I snagged one of the Fiesta Red ones before they went OOS. Fat50s are supposed to be glorious.

Maybe, if the humbucker isn't your thing.
But no one has even posted those alternatives as deals in their own right.

Honorable mention: The G&L split pickups.
