I liked the concept that the musicians received more of the subscription $'s, but I like money in my pocket more!
Music and sound quality is great - so if you're an audiophile, its a whole different value prop for you. For a casual listener, it was great at $6/7 mo but exceeds the value received at $11/mo.
It's still less than two Starbucks a month but I make my coffee at home as well, so it's more like a pound of Lavazza beans!
