Can't answer that for you, but… I've done exactly that!

I always take it with me on road trips, and a few times while camping. It might be overkill (overweight) for just a phone and tablet (especially if you need a capacity that is airplane legal), but I used mine to recharge my tablet, phone, watch, run a USB fan, charge my camera batteries, run an air bed pump, and even run a low wattage induction cook surface. When I'm at home, I use it in my home office where I don't have enough wall outlets to run my vinyl record player… hey, it's clean power right?

Cons: it's heavy, you won't really want to hike with it, probably just car camping situations. Running high W appliances might be out of reach, like an 800W microwave. You may have a hard time recharging the battery from solar while keeping a fridge running, it's probably not enough for indefinite refrigeration. When you're not camping, it'll probably spend most of its time gathering dust (store at 50% power to prevent degradation!!!), unless there's a power outage (and most power outages don't last long).

So, if you can find enough uses for it like me, and you go on road trips a few times a year where you NEED power like me (photos for sale), then sure its worth it. But… if you just like the IDEA of it, maybe it's not worth it. Always other things to spend money on.

this is perfect for those end of the world situations where even though the cell towers and satellites were destroyed in the apocalypse, you can still enjoy those final hours pretending to text.

if you don't already have one, get it, I had one smaller than this powering just the router and the modem for about 12 hours, another battery pack powering the DC fan

got us through the recent Houston storm power outage near Cypress

yes, it will be collecting dust most of the time, until I can afford a generac, this will be a huge lifesaver

I had the original River Pro running my wifi, a Delta 1300 running my tv and surround sound, and a Delta 2 running my daughter's medical equipment. Was great during those recent storms!

River 2's efficiency at low output is very low
What about running 30W total to say a macbook and a s24 ultra running hotspot.

The codes also work on the solar panels and the codes can be used twice. Got the 768Wh power station and picked up the 110W refurb folding panels to go with it. Wasn't sure the 160W folding panels are worth the extra cost and size. They also have the combo sets with the power station and panels if they run out of stock on the power stations. The comb sets ended up being a little more expensive than buying the panels and power station separately for what I wanted.
Just picked up the same two items, separately, as well. I was in the market for a these particular devices for a while now and it almost feels like a steal. Perfect timing for camping season. Thanks for the inspiration!

Going to use mine to run my PC during power outages and a maybe try as a UPS (have seen many people say this is possible). I have a no-name 100W rigid solar panel and it charges up my 256Wh Ecoflow River 2 fast.

This ecoflow unit is likely 110-120 as listed on the ebay site.

Slickdeals 220-240v is likely incorrect. Not sure if Slickdeals can modify this ..If I am correct.

This is a good price right now but I'm waiting for a Delta 2 MAX to come down to like .25/whr, maybe in a few more years...

I bought a refurbed River 2 (not Pro) on eBay for $100 a few months ago. Similar deal to this, with a 5 yr warranty + eBay's 2 yr Allstate warranty. Here are my thoughts:

Item looked brand new. The only negative thing I can say about the Rivers is that they're missing an LED light, which is standard on most power supplies. That means I'll have to use one of the ports or outlets if I need emergency light. Other than that, I love the unit. I was VERY skeptical about the fast charging but sure enough, the thing miraculously charged in an hour. And I love the flat top, allowing me to put things on the unit. Other models have a handle on top.

I should point out that as a Manhattanite, we don't really get power outages. Nor do I go camping or tailgating. I bought it as a UPS for my computer. I used to have a lead acid UPS that was heavy, bulky and required too much maintenance. People seemed mix on using this, and power stations in general, as a UPS. Many claim that the switchover from AC to the battery isn't fast enough. Well, they're wrong. I've tested this several times by physically unplugging it from the wall and my desktop PC and 8 external drives suffered no interruption. In fact, it saved my butt last week. I was in the middle of rendering a video which normally takes 6-10 hours. Any interruption means starting over again. While unplugging something, I accidentally tripped the power switch on the surge protector, in which this was plugged. My PC continued running as if nothing happened.

A big headache with power stations is the discharge-recharge maintenance required every few months. For someone who doesn't go camping, that means easily forgetting to cycle the unit. And that is in fact what happened to another model we bought years ago. After using it just once, it sat in the closet untouched for years. When we took it out for a picnic, the battery had degraded so much, it no longer held a charge. Maintenance seems easier with these LiFePo models. And using it as a UPS makes maintenance much easier. I just let it power my computer for a few hours every few months (or a 500 watt coffee maker for faster discharge).

I live in Ghana, which has 220v ac, and frequent power cuts. Does this have a switch that could power 220 v rather than 110 v? Also, is it legal to put this in checked luggage?

Does this work well as an always on solution for power to a shed w/ a solar panel connected? To power 12v lights, charge tool batteries and an outdoor Poe camera?

So can't really run a fridge in case of power outage?
There may be fridges that pull more than 800 watts at some point in the cycle, but none I've seen. Assuming the fridge in question doesn't exceed 800 watts, then it's just a matter of how long it will run.

If you take the W/H of any AIO solar battery and multiply by roughly .8 you get the usable w/h. So in this case, you could expect around 615 usable w/h. This will vary up/down given the load, but a good reference.

If your fridge uses 100 w/h, then it would run for about 6 hours. This again will vary with the power the fridge requires. So if you are without power for a couple of days, you would want a larger battery. But while in my area, Ameren is about as reliable as the Iraqi power grid, they usually have power back in that 6 hour window.

I've been loving my Bluetti EB3A, but at this price for the extra Wh is tempting me. I usually have to charge it once over a three day camping trip and that kinda sucks.
