1. They only have tellers at the branches. Other than deposit or withdraw, they really can't do much there. Tellers usually have to call into a call center to do anything else. I was there for 40 minutes last time for a transfer from one account to another account within Capital One. There was a guy that came in shortly behind me that waited 20 minutes before he got serviced.
2. Any transfer or deposit will take minimal of 5 days to clear regardless.
3. Any large amount deposit, there is a step process for how much money is available and at what time. I think I did a $20k deposit cashier check. I think $2k was available the next day, Another $7k (?) was a week later. Remaining was about another week after that.
