That is an extra battery only. Has no inverter to actually convert the stored power into usable energy. So you need the OP power station (or another compatible one) first then add this to increase capacity.

I don't think it works anymore. I'm seeing $573.75 with the 20% off its $493.43..
Would refurbished from eBay qualify? Or is it brand new only. Thanks!

Also, I have the Delta 2 Max, and it's been phenomenal. I've been having a blast using these to test and learn about solar, tracking energy usage with the app, powering my tool shed in the backyard without running extension wires, and keeping my office computer/monitors/AC window unit/etc... going during power outages. Given the 1800w output, they can power pretty much anything a 15 amp breaker would (1800watts/120volts=15amps). But if you're thinking of using these as a backup solution, you should keep your expectations in check and you'll definitely want a solar panel or two. 1kwh actually drains pretty fast. For example, my refrigerator uses ~2kwh a day, which means this delta 2 would only run it for about 12 hours (and probably less given conversion losses of DC to AC). So if you have a two day long power outage, even with solar, you may have some downtime. Maybe your refrigerator is more efficient, but just wanted to set expectations a bit. On the flip side, I have paired the Delta 2 Max with a Midea U window AC unit and a solar panel and was able to run that for over a week without ever needing the grid.
I think $500 is a great price for this, and it's possible we may not see this go any lower due to the recent tarriff increases for solar cells and batteries imported from China. https://www.reuters.com/business/...024-05-10/
