I've bought 5 different refurbished units for their ebay store. I swear they were all brand new. Not one single issue.

I noticed that they list the same item for different prices. Earlier this week, I could have sworn the price was around 500-600

Is this better deal?

That is an extra battery only. Has no inverter to actually convert the stored power into usable energy. So you need the OP power station (or another compatible one) first then add this to increase capacity.

So if you buy 3 of those, does it qualify for 30% tax credits?
Yes in theory. Even better deal would be one of these and 2 extra batteries for 3 KWH of energy total for the tax credit and the total system cost should be lower as well. Less redundant though.

Would refurbished from eBay qualify? Or is it brand new only. Thanks!

Does this beat their deal where they bundle this battery with 2 110W solar panels for 799?

Can you run AC outs while also charging solar to extend it's delivery capability?
Yes, but it won't use 2 input sources. So for example solar and ac input to charge. It defaults to ac input and shuts solar input down.

The Ebay deal comes out to about $500 after tax, but with Wellbots, there is no tax and free shipping to my location (Nevada). I think $30 for brand new over refurb is a no brainer for me. I've ordered from Wellbots before, no issues on my end, but I'm interested in the experience others have had with them.

Also, I have the Delta 2 Max, and it's been phenomenal. I've been having a blast using these to test and learn about solar, tracking energy usage with the app, powering my tool shed in the backyard without running extension wires, and keeping my office computer/monitors/AC window unit/etc... going during power outages. Given the 1800w output, they can power pretty much anything a 15 amp breaker would (1800watts/120volts=15amps). But if you're thinking of using these as a backup solution, you should keep your expectations in check and you'll definitely want a solar panel or two. 1kwh actually drains pretty fast. For example, my refrigerator uses ~2kwh a day, which means this delta 2 would only run it for about 12 hours (and probably less given conversion losses of DC to AC). So if you have a two day long power outage, even with solar, you may have some downtime. Maybe your refrigerator is more efficient, but just wanted to set expectations a bit. On the flip side, I have paired the Delta 2 Max with a Midea U window AC unit and a solar panel and was able to run that for over a week without ever needing the grid.

I think $500 is a great price for this, and it's possible we may not see this go any lower due to the recent tarriff increases for solar cells and batteries imported from China. https://www.reuters.com/business/...024-05-10/

We just had a 5-day power outage in Houston. Some are still without power today. I ran a small generator for my fridge and to charge various electronic devices. But once the fridge finish cooling, I would shut everything off for about 6-8 hours (without opening), then plug back in to re-cool. "So if you needed to charge something, do it while the fridge is on", was the rule. Your fridge can stay cool for awhile as long as you don't open it. So you probably could get a few more hours out of the Delta 2 with this method. But once you introduce climate control, this method is out the window.
