Car and Driver tested (either this or the sister model GPW3001) for different spray nozzles - doesn't quite meet claimed max of 3000 psi and 2.0 gpm, but still impressive for electric and got their recommendation for most powerful:
15° - 2600 psi | 1.1 gpm
25° - 2000 psi | 1.35 gpm
40° - 2200 psi | 1.35 gpm
Turbo - 1000 psi | 1.7 gpm
Soap - <100 psi | 1.7 gpm

Went to crank my 4000 PSI gas, wouldn't crank. Hadn't used in 2 years.

So I moved to my 3400 PSI gas unit, wouldn't crank. Hadn't used in 2 years.

Tried my electric. Worked right away.

The limiting factor on electric is the 15A plug. They may larger ones that can do actual 4000 PSI and 3.5GPM but need the same plug as your stove (50A, 240V)

Gas are excellent when you use them all the time and don't have to rebuild a carburetor, etc.

I gave up my gas pressure washers years ago, I got a 3000 psi ryobi electric one few years back, and I use the ryobi surface disk cleaner with it, it's great. no issues, I just made $200 off my n neighbors few weeks ago too, did my driveway, porch patio, and then they asked me to do theirs. 2 hours work, 200 bucks.

so there's a trick tho. with this, less water, means less run off with the dirt, so I bought the ryobi water broom attachment, every 10-15 feet, I pop off the surface disk cleaner, and use the little broom/water broom (its a sprayer with skate wheels on it) and I move all the nasty dirt away down driveway.

long story short, it does take longer than my gas one, but plug and play, do nothing but put in garage and forget about it. im going on year 3 I think. zero regrets, yeah maybe 50% longer to pressure wash, but zero fuel, and no craps given. worth it!

I paid like 250 for my 3000 psi ryobi from Home Depot somehow, it was a glitch first day it was listed, then changed to 399 or 499 I forget.

no idea how I got this discount when it was announced but I did. lol- my garage is a 20amp outlet, if that matters too.

I own this one

plus disck cleaner - got mine for 25 dollars DTO

water broom- paid 20 at DTO was well.

There seem to be two 3000 psi models. This model at Lowe's - GPW3000 and at Amazon/Greenworks - GPW3001. I can't find much difference online in specs but the Lowe's one might be an older model and has a blue hose, while the GPW3001 seems to have a steel belted black hose. Hope this helps.

Just to add on in the direction of what others have said.

This might be good to clean the car, bikes, lawn equipment, outdoor furniture and the like. It will not be able to tackle the bigger jobs you are liable to try and throw at it. It's small, powerful for it's size, and can clean large items around your house. If you want something to clean the driveway, house, etc...You are going to need a larger more powerful gas unit.

Have a great HOLIDAY everybody!
Yeah, it MIGHT be good to clean a car…

On the fence about electric pressure washers?

Opinion: I've used gas powered most of my life and gas will always out perform electric (for now) so you can electric to the same standard.

I ended up getting electric because I move a lot for work and I was pleasantly surprised by how good it works. It's great for car/truck washes (especially under body), cleaning decks/fences, moderate concrete cleaning (can get most stains off), and all around easier to use. If you're on the fence for work around the house, definitely get electric. If you're looking for commercial business, heavy duty, etc, stick with gas.

***most important: a lot of electric pressure washers fail after a couple months due to improper pump care. Get a can of "pump saver" from Amazon or Lowe's (~$8) and spray it in after each use. Mine has been running great for 4 yrs now.

Hope this helps!

Or just put the carb away dry, like you're supposed to.

Taking care of your equipment.... Slick!
I remember that on my equipment that has a gas shutoff like my shredder. I turn the gas valve off and let it run and turn itself off.

How do you do it when there is no shutoff? Actually opening up the carb, etc?

This one is about 50%-75% more powerful than your standard electric pressure washer.

My dad took the paint off his truck with his large gas one. :-O

I have an older model and yea it takes a while but have no issues cleaning my driveway , siding, outdoor furniture etc.

I think it's pretty powerful and honestly afraid to use it in my car even though it has a car attachment but just got a new car so maybe I'll wait to test it after a year.

So, I left my pressure out last night and didn't think it was going to rain. Thought to myself once it started down pouring "its a pressure washer I am sure it will be fine its made to handle water. Went to start it this morning and NOPE ... DEAD.

Remembered this thread jumped back online and order this bad boy but its sold out in all stores by me so I will get it delivered next Monday. So now half my house is power washed and the other side will wait lol

Will those attachments work with this Greenworks Pro 3000 psi? I never saw the water broom before that thing is def a life savor! I have the green works disc washer but it doesn't work as well as my old one, almost feel like you are fighting it the entire time and doesnt move smoothly from front to back. The one you posted looks similar to my old one but can't recall the name but it worked great but then stopped working somehow.

they should, they are standard fittings, (standard as they've fit my previous pressure washers) unless the green works is using a different pressure washer quick connect then I think it would. could buy them from HD and return them if not, ( I would do this as a test ) to see how you like the set up, and return them anyway if you like them, buy them from DTO on a large sale, happens often.

like I said, I paid like 25 dollars for the disc thing, and 20sh for the broom. ef paying full price, you could get away using them from Home Depot, and returning the and the works done til next year anyway. - then wait for a big sale over winter when they clearance this crap out.

This Ryobi one is important, because it has the correct tips for electric washer, using a gas model, or to small/weaker one won't yield good results. I had old disk and I gave to a friend and bought this one, and it's great paired to my electric.

Gas ones have larger orifices, so won't have the same cleaning power.

the ryobi one, I just did one pass, then back so 1 up 1 down, and its clean, my driveway is large squares so it makes it easy to knock out a few squares and push dirt down. lemme get a pic. 1 second

here's my driveway/sidewalk/porch, takes me like 2 hours total, just because like I said, I do 2 squares (left and right) then push the dirt down using broom, then next squares, then dirt away, til all the dirt is at the end of driveway where just push it away/rinse it away to go down road.

I just leave it in my insulated/non heated garage, I dont do the pump saver or anything, but my garage stays above freezing, could get to freezing but doesn't really idk, nothing ever goes bad in there. no issues on year like 3 now.

I did the pressure washing a month ago and its cloudy out., so I mean, it isn't as white as it was. but still looks good for a year. this concrete is 20 years old.

so yeah, buy the broom/disc from Home Depot, try it out, return it. if you liked it, buy it from DTO on a sale. id return it regardless as a try out to see how you liked that set up/pressure washer.

also attached a pic how I use the water broom to push away the lifted dirt from surface cleaner, I just push it back every 20 feet or so,

with all equal, if the attachments do fit, and its just as strong as my ryobi 3000 psi in terms of performance, you'll get the job done, just takes a little longer, I mean, 50%-100% longer, but yeah, I dont mind it, 2 hours a year, knocks my driveway, patio, sidewalk, you can see how long my area is, I can park 6 full size cars on my driveway. with plenty room to spare between them.

oh BIG THING. I bought me a flex hose or whatever the fuk they are called, the gorilla hose or something, flexible pressure washing hose, bc the stock ryobi one was a nightmare, it was all kinds of bunched up/wouldnt unravel to save your life. was a pain in ass.

edit: I dupe posted, ignore me.

This is currently going for $370 elsewhere. Beats Amazon's all-time-low of $299 from late last year.
