The bitrate is going to be superior on the disc thus resulting in much better picture/sound quality in difficult areas like grain etc. With streaming, you're at the mercy of your internet provider and the digital provider to stream the best quality. With physical, you always have the best.
Available on Max if you have that streaming service.
For any films or TV series you really love and want to experience in the highest possible quality, having it on physical disc offers a better experience from a technical standpoint versus streaming. Higher consistent bitrates on video and audio, which means a higher quality experience if you have the right equipment. You're also not relying on the stability of an internet connect, which can change. So the picture and the sound are both technically - and sometimes noticeably - better.

Is it such a huge difference that the average person would notice? Probably not with a solid internet connection. But if you're into home theater in a big way, physical media is definitely the way to go almost every time.

Aside from what you mention regarding the off chance of streaming services removing content (which I agree is unlikely with something like Apple or Amazon), there's also the chance for changes to the streaming version. Updates and alterations which may or may not be for the better (removing certain things or entire scenes, changing the color grading, etc). With a physical disc, you have the version originally release. Usually this is a positive thing, but not always.

I buy the physical discs for shows and movie I really, really like. I want to support the creators of the content as well as permanently have a high quality copy in my collection. For other things, I also wait for a price drop and grab the digital version.

Same.
If you have even a half way decent setup, this is a must-have on disc!
Like the first one, it's one of the few movies that received a reference transfer in both PQ & AQ!

Went and watched it in theaters, awesome movie. But it one of those movies where, good sound, good tv, and best quality BLU ray/4K streaming version matters a LOT.

Does the 4K disc or the digital 4K version have the IMAX aspect ratio? I know that any Nolan movie has that feature if it's a BLU ray, not sure about dune

It's silly because the Apple trailer is in IMAX aspect ratio

Sorry for my ignorance but what makes the disk superior? You talking about the steelbook?

I get the digital versions of movies I want to have around once they drop below $5 mainly because I don't want all the discs taking up space. They tend to have 4K/UHD/HDR/Atmos available for movies like this.

For the person out there that always mentions it…no need to give the lecture on how Amazon, Apple, etc. can remove content anytime as I'm aware but think it's unlikely so fine taking the risk.
