Same here, I feel like the filling is smoother and creamier than the original Oreos. I actually prefer these.

These are great. Chips Ahoy also makes a great gluten free cookie now!

This doesn't make sense. Replacing the wheat flour with rice flour doesn't stop these from being mostly fat and sugar.
If you're trying to eat healthier, go with the variety that tastes best to you and limit your portion. Keep them in the freezer to extend the life so they don't go stale before you finish them.
It's not about it being healthy. It's about it being safe for people with sensitivities or allergies.
Gluten "intolerence" is proven to be a case of correlation-does-not-imply-causation in that, people think they are "intolerant" to gluten because as a result of shopping for gluten free foods, they become much more selective in their process of acquiring and consuming food, and this trends towards eating a better diet overall, contributing to them feeling better. A lot of people attribute this to having a gluten sensitivity when it's really just eating healthier overall. This is the same thing that happened with MSG and "Chinese Resturant Syndrome" in the 1990s. There are still products that advertise "no MSG" and still health influencers spreading the falseness that MSG is a dangerous chemical and is responsible for all sorts of health issues (when it isn't).
Long story short, for most people "gluten free" implies "healthy" in the same way that, "organic", "free range", "clean", and all of these ambiguous vaguely defined marketing terms mean healthy.
Prove me wrong.
Look up "celiac." QED.

It isn't about unhealthy. Those that can't have gluten via allergies or intolerance get to have that little bit of joy that those that can eat anything take for granted. These are actually very good and close to the "real thing". Brings a lot of people joy.
