64gb isn't much after the OS takes 16gb, or more with updates. If you sync photos, texts, emails, plus stream and play only a handful of games, there isn't mich left on a 64gb anymore.

The new iPad Air M2 base version is similar price and comes with 128GB, landscape Facetime cam and other features… unless you absolutely need this iPad's for the extra storage.

Dude, COD Mobile alone can be anywhere from 4-10GB alone.


64GB is miserly and such a pitiful capacity is completely unacceptable in 2024.

Couple of other factors such as 120hz promotion screen and higher nits. This is the reason why I struggled with buying the M2 Air because you have to trade certain features.

My iPhone 12 which has 64GB is currently at 48/64gb and I play quite a lot of games, COD mobile, Minecraft, among us, Roblox, and about 6 other games together take about 10GB.
This is a constant struggle with my tech illiterate family members. They can't understand how to manage their storage. They end up never updating the OS because there's no more room to download the update. Put your media in the cloud or on an external disk!

The newer iPad Air does not get the 120Hz pro-motion screen. That's reserved only for the iPad Pro models.

I have a 64gb iPad and if you want to download movies for flights it will not be enough. 128GB is the minimum now and yes I have everything offloaded to iCloud storage too.

Personally I use google photos, and just upload all pics to cloud, and then google photos will clear them off local storgae

I agree that 128 should be standard.

But again that's why I said, those people know who they are. They are the people who are downloading movies and stuff like that. Almost every one I know who has an iPad doesn't do that. They just stream content, and play games, and do note taking/ google drive stuff
