Milwaukee M18 Top-Off 175W Compact Inverter (Home Depot) $59

This is $20 cheaper than the current Frontpage deal at eBay.

Available at Home Depot stores AND online. This is a hackable deal. This deal rings up correct in-store with discounts applied to both items on your receipt!

Step 1) Go to product page
Step 2) Select one of the available $149 tools: M18 radius light OR M18 rover light
Step 3) Add both to cart
Step 4) Checkout
Step 5) Up to you on keeping the light. To complete the hack, I prefer to return items to an actual store. Dealing with customer service over text or online to cancel the battery is a PITA and not worth it for me.
Step 6) Use the savings to buy more tools!

Inverter goes from $99.00 to $59.48

Could I plug a sump pump into this during a power outage?
Not if your sump pump draws more than 175 watts.

Just a thought; the Ridgid version has the same wattage specs and includes a built in flashlight if it matters to anyone.

Can this with a 6 or 8 amp battery charge a 15,600mah battery? Sorry I don't know much about electronics.

I have one of these and like it. I plugged a forge battery into it during a power outage and ran our internet modem off it for about 5 hours. It still had life left on battery when power came back.

No it would not work with a Dewalt battery. If you search the internet people make adapters to swap brand name battery's on other brand tools but it's not recommended. I believe Dewalt makes a similar inverter.

Plenty of adapters on ebay and here's one: https://www.ebay.com/itm/33530973...R4bu7932Yw

Used to be $25 a few years back and it has come down to $12:50-16.00.

If I recall correctly, DeWalt puts their low voltage cut-off in the tools, not the batteries, so using something like this could brick the DeWalt battery if not carefully monitored for over-discharging.

That's correct. I've made that accident leaving the battery plugged into the adapter. Then having to jump start it with another battery.

But it sure is nice to power Ryobi 18v accessories with a 20v DeWalt battery.

As always, "it depends" - on how much power the connected devices use. Most TVs should be able to run off this thing, but not for an extended period of time. Most TVs will be in the neighbohood of 50-150W, and with a 6AH battery (~108 watt-hours), you're looking at maybe 1h of runtime after DC -> AC conversion loss.

A bigger battery/inverter setup like all the Ecoflow/Anker units you see here would be much more suitable for running a TV or projector for hours at a time. These M18 top off units are better for running stuff like LED lighting, fan, radio, or charging phones/devices.

I've had one of these for awhile now. It will not run a larger tv nor will it run a coffee maker. It will run my coffee grinder though. Ha ha. it's good for small items. Will do a laptop. Overall I did not see it a a very beneficial purchase. Probably better off getting one of the smaller m18 lanterns that have a usb output.

Grabbed one of these today for the inverter and walked back in with the light. No issues. We use this for camping (also when power goes out) and is a much better inverter than most. I also ordered a dewalt to milwaukee adapter as I have a lot of DeWalt tools and not looking to make the jump. Thanks o.p.

Also not worried about bricking the battery as the most its used for is charging a cell phone or bluetooth speaker. And inflating an air mattress.

Does this have an expiration date? I want to order as late as possible since I'm out of town and don't want it sitting in the rain multiple days.
