I'll buy one of these when they drop to $30 for a 13-14 inch panel.

I remember these being $150 when they first entered the market, now we are getting $50 ones.

300 nits. I doubt it's as bright and vibrant as it claims to be. I have a similar spec portable screen from Arzopa that looks terrible.

Yep, coupon is only $5. Typical behavior by third-party sellers who adjust constantly based on opportunity/demand.

I went to their Amazon page and viewed the video at the end of the image column of this monitor. What alerted me is that images on this monitor do not pop out. they are not as vivid as on others. So I am thinking this is a great monitor for business use (text, basic GUI rendering, etc) but definitely not very good for multimedia experience..

Anyone have experience with this particular model and have used an adapter on it? I have two no-name portable monitors that work great if you plug it in with the same port the monitor comes with. But doesnt work if you use an adapter. (i.e. DP to HDMI, HDMI to DP, HDMI to mini HDMI, etc). One kind of works, but flickers when a lot of activity is going on the screen. But works fine if it's sitting there with an idle desktop. (And yes, I'm 100% sure the adapters are not at fault)

Isn't that pretty much the case with all of these cheap portable monitors?

got mine already and will test it out shortly. TBH for the price I don't have high expectations and need something for periodic travel use when working remotely

There is the reason why these are low nowadays. They all come from the same factory. They just change the name.
