Yeah like those are much better…
I have these. I live in the middle of Michigan and bought these for plowing snow on my tractor or using my snow blower. They are incredibly warm, too warm. Hands sweat so bad I have throw them in front of the heater vent to dry out every time.
I have a similar pair Carhart gloves that I skied in this past March. I felt that they were as warm as the more expensive name brand gloves but we didn't have any extreme cold temperatures that week. For 10 bucks they are worth having even if you don't use them to ski.

I've had a pair of these for a few years, only using them above 30 degrees as they're not great for wind paired with sub freezing temperatures. Tried a few times and fingers were painful cold within 20 minutes. Hopefully the quality has improved, otherwise I'd agree with them being Carhartt in name only. Especially as they've become more of a fashion brand.

Meh. 9.99 gloves with carhartt label. Doubt it's carhartt quality. Not bad for $10. But I'll go to Marshalls and get Eddie Bauer black ones for $10
But then you'd be stuck with Eddie Bauer gloves... Might as well wear Walmart shopping bags.

Don't get these. Waterproof in this case means they do not breathe at all. Your hands will be soaked every time you use them.

I am wondering the same. Bought some Head brand from ones from Costco and they are just ok.

also, anyone know the fit on these Carhartt ones? fit too big or too small?

These will get shredded pretty fast. All polyster. I suggest learher/synthetic leather palms and fingers for winter sports

Nice and warm, great for snow blowing. I get about two winters of shoveling and snow blowing out of these before I pop a hole in them somehow.

To me that description sounds less like they are too warm and more like the don't breathe? That can be okay if you can dry them out each time but not ideal if you are going to be out a long time and will be alternating activities and sitting (skiing, in a tree stand, etc).

That being said I still grabbed a pair for the glovebox...
