Yeah, we get it, there are many cheaper magnetic pick-up tools out there. But are you comparing apples to apples in regards to strength and length?

Reps to anyone who can link to any other 30" long tool with 16lbs magnet for under $5.

For up to 8lbs magnetic force & 6" less reach length...
Specs on $2,99 Autozone magnet are 24" reach & "Up To" 8lbs. Apparently less than 8lbs if going against gravity according to one review...
I guess when one drops that alternator all the way down there, you would want the Amazon one 😜

If this magnet or any magnet claims xx weight you should reduce it by 50% or more. Why? Because you're not just picking up the 16lb wrench off the floor with no obstructions. You're snaking it out of the most impossible spots. You have to figuring the "how the f did it get in there" factor.

Okay, but now you know where you can find them cheaper
True. But you have to spend $10 for free shipping. Plus the uncertainty about 10lbs or even 16lbs bullshite weight limit. No returns at Temu. I buy from Temu but I buy products that are simple like a hose sprayer or even those stretchy hoses. I know they are crap but they are still cheaper dollar wise for the same item on Amazon.

Buy 10, free shipping. Tape them together for 100lb lifting force.
