Amex is nickel diming their subscription offers by requiring a monthly subscription which is more expensive, and on the YouTube its a discount on 2 months only. I can get a free 3 month trial already thru multiple ways as a perk already. The YouTube Annual membership is already a discount vs the monthly via Amex of $14.
Amex changes on their airport lounge access etc, has really killed it value for me.

I get Max(HBOMax) free with ATT Internet 1gb service
Walmart+ gives me Paramount+ basic free
Chase Sapphire cards give DoorDash, Lyft Pink, Instacart+(which then gives Peacock). Plus spending on these give additional points and you a get $15 monthly cash credit on some of them to use.
If lucky enough to have Spectrum Internet available, best deal on wireless(Verizon Network). 1yr free unlimited cell phone service, and extra wireless phone service $25/month for the year. Though it looks like that deal is avail in many ways from them.
Whistleout.com site is good to find best phone, internet deals each month BTW.

I would actually pay $30 a year to get rid of ads and be able to watch with simplicity on their apps. If you have a link to the simplest way to buy using a VPN and have it "stick" please share.
$180 a year to get rid of ads just means that I get rid of watching much YouTube.
Try creating a new account of gmail. Setup a family plan and share it with your account.

- Urban VPN + connect to India.
- Open a gmail account with "any India address"
- Get and pay with any of your card the monthly subscription
- At the moment that you are hitting "pay" disconnect from VPN. Very important. Then pay
- all people who you invite needs to create a google payment profile from the country of the person who invite. Simple just delete all other than India.
- after everything is done, you can go back to your USA profile and it will be set. Just leave the primary as it is. You just create it for this purpose and you don't longer need the VPN.
- now you have 5 accounts and monthly payment at whatever country you decided.
- Turkey, India, Philippines, Ghana, Brazil, Argentina are the cheapest.
Enjoy it. For 2-3 a month.

I agree but believe me you want the monthly. I paid yearly last couple of year and for renewal google didn't let me, so I started doing what I show you now. My wife is monthly and it's working perfectly for her like a charm for the past 2 year. 1.33 dollars.
So we are paying with us card and address ? And it works? Or do we need foreign country card and billing address?
American card, whatever addresss you can set on those country. I have my chase and Amex and the billing I put while paying those country. It worked like a charm.
DOC is much better. Website does not look as good, but they did not sell out to the CCs and banks.
also, i think YTube has or about to raise their prices in foreign countries.
still get YT , ahem, free. but willing and actually would like to pay something for an annual YT.. just cant afford $134? price .
