My pedantic ass just emailed msi customer support to see what cpu is actually included as the 7700g doesn't exist...
It is either an 8700g or a 7700(x)

The Core i5-13600K was sigificantly faster in the multi-threaded test at 24,268 compared to 18,476 for the Ryzen 7 7700, which was around 1,500 points lower than the 7700X

If you scroll down to the details on the MSI site, it lists the CPU as the R7-7700 (no g or x) which does exist and is probably the correct CPU. But it will be interesting to hear what MSI sends back to you.

Almost certainly a 7700 which has base clock of 3.8 GHz.

An AM5 CPU with DDR 4, that can't be right can it? Even the site says it. Cmon MSI!

Edit: in the specs it says DDR5 5600.
