Companies love to upcharge for the LCD even though they're becoming more common in product lineups. It's unbelievable considering the cost to the manufacturer is definitely pretty cheap. Definitely not worth the extra cost. The sale price of this cooler isn't terrible but also not amazing considering other brands offer 360mm for similar price points. I'd go for Arctic brand coolers over this one especially if they're at a similar price point.

These do not have the best performance reviews and testing. Can spend the same or less with a better performing cooler.

For 240 even the thermalright frozen edge or vetroo do better in managing heat. If you want a good performance spend the extra on the arctic liquid 2 or the newer 3. Owned a few different coolers aio and custom. Really MSI can make some good products but coolers they fall behind which is a let down.

Not entirely sure if it's better or not but the Cooler Master ML240L ARGB has been hanging around at around 60 dollars for a while now on Newegg. Again, not entirely sure how it compares but I haven't had anything bad happen with their coolers in the past.

I've read a few articles that liquid cooling is not necessarily better than old school fin and fan cooling.
