Available for in-store pickup at RC Wiley but I just successfully price matched at Best Buy on my first attempt with the online live-chat.

STEP BY STEP
I shared the RC Wiley link, added MVC2 to my Best Buy cart and shared the SKU (6515485) with the agent.
They asked me to confirm my Zip Code and I provided one that has an RC Wiley nearby (84115 SLC, UT) then they approved the price match by sending me a unique invoice link to complete the purchase. Free shipping included.

But hey, let's pretend that it was MVC2. And let's assume that it ends up selling for under $680 (the auction house adds an 18% buyers premium, so it needs to sell for under $680 for the total price to remain under $800). That does a fat load of good for anybody who doesn't just so happen to live in Anaheim California, and have access to a pickup truck, and is willing to spend a few hours on a Friday or Saturday afternoon to go to an auction, because the sale is for the machine as-is and where it stands in their warehouse, and they require it to be removed from their premises within 5 days or else they'll consider it abandoned.
For the 99.9% of us who don't live within convenient driving distance of auction houses that specialize in cheap arcade machines and would have to have an auction winning shipped, you can set aside hundreds more to get it freighted, but that's a moot point, because if you're buying decades-old as-is arcade machines in online auctions without being able to inspect them in person first, you're a fool who's probably signing yourself up for a big money pit.
Do I really need to explain why some people might prefer simply clicking a button on BestBuy.com and having a box show up at their front door two days later that contains a lightweight, brand new, flat-packed miniature replica that doesn't weigh 300 pounds, take up as much room as a refrigerator, and hasn't been getting beaten to death by thousands of people for the last 25 years?
The whole "just buy original machines, they're not much more expensive than A1Us" thing is so delusionally out of touch. A1U machines sell by the thousands and thousands. No, the tiny quantities of vintage original machines that occasionally go for great prices at local in-person auctions are not a replacement supply for the readily-available A1U versions that anyone can buy and have delivered to their house with free shipping within 2 days. These things are not equivalent. We all know this. Get real.

I replaced my Arcade1UP controls the first week I had it with Ultimarc joysticks and buttons. I still have those Ultimarc Joysticks and buttons but I haven't felt the need to swap out the joysticks on my Atgames so that itself says something about their quality. Sue the Ultimarc would be "better" but the Atgames controls are good enough that I didn't feel the time was worth it to even bother!
I say all this as someone who used to collect vintage machines, but has since parted with all buy one of my original machines. I now just have a handful of A1U machines, which do a fine job of scratching the occasional itch and reminding me of the glory days.

Slick deal if you can get a match tho!
Citation needed. Please, link me to where we can buy an original MVC2 cab for ~$800. And remember, that needs to include delivery for it to be a fair comparison. And if you're so sure the market is flush with the "real things" for just $200 more than A1U's versions, please also link me somewhere I can buy original cabinets of TMNT, NBA Jam, Tron, Dragon's Lair, Atari Star Wars, Terminator 2, and/or Killer Instinct, for well under $1000 each, delivered. Should be easy, yeah? I'll wait.
