I have the 40V version of this and even the 40v version is a beast that has no problem cutting through anything that is a bit less (1/2 or smaller) in diameter than the saw length. Very hardy and easy to adjust. I've had mine for 2-3 years. Also have a chainsaw that is 40V. Greenworks is a good tool system

This one? How you get another battery free. None of what you are saying makes sense since it is a different product.

But it seems to have a 4 year warranty. Why did you get the 2 year can you explain?
because dealing with oem manufacturer warrantys is a pain. They are a million hoops to jump through, authorized service center diagnostics, paying postage, etc. With allstate replacement plan i dont have to pay a dime. If theres an issue I make a claim and either they handle all postage for repair or the coverage claim adjuster sends you a full or partial refund when an item goes defective depending on price treshold. Not my first rodeo on appliances.

Any opinions on how this compares to the woot deal for the sun joe package? https://slickdeals.net/f/17521749-3-tool-sun-joe-garden-tool-system-telescopic-pole-2-0ah-battery-an...
Well...

The Sun Joe one is a toy...and this could be used by the protagonist in a Zombie movie to kill hordes...so...very very different.

That said, if you don't actually need to do a lot, that is probably fine.

I have the Greenworks lawnmower and chainsaw that takes the 80V battery. They are great products but the battery is pretty freakin heavy. I don't know about using a pole saw with it attached..

Thanks. I just needed the pole hedge trimmer and was leaning towards the Ryobi but the Sun Joe is cheaper with the added saw and blower that I will probably give away.

Plus the BB one is 14.5 ft, not even the same product lol. Jayhawk must have gotten a charitable customer service rep.
It is the same, 8 ft extension for 14 ft reach. Price match unlikely because of the free battery offer at BB unless you get lucky.

They should make an oil-less version.

recently got a hart 20v polesaw at local walmart clearance for 65$. It's light enough but keeps getting jammed up even on small branches so I'll probably end up returning. Pulled the trigger on this greenworks polesaw + 2 yr plan. I already have an 80v snowblower, chainsaw, and mower pushing 8 years now so a fresh battery is extra clutch given that a standalone oem battery goes for $100+.

Anyone know the actual greenworks model# so i can look up the product weight?
How well does this snow blower work with heavy snow (i life in Wisconsin)? is it the two stage, or single? I'm always looking for ways to get away from my ICE stuff, especially when it comes to yard maintenance stuff. i don't find yard or tool maintenance a pleasure, so I would rather just get the job done, and get on with stuff id rather spend my time on.

Bought into the greenworks 80v system a few years ago with a lawnmower, and every year since added to it. This year i was undecided between a chainsaw or a polesaw; and this clinched it.
How does it compare to the ryobi system?

Yep, I bought a Amazon warehouse deal tool last year that came with a battery. The battery looked older compared to the ones I had. I figured it could be the first to go bad. If so, I'll see if in the next two years if the warranty I added will be worth it. During a different customer service tool inquiry I got the impression those battery deals may not be under warranty.

With this pole saw and the blower deal posted, I'm up to 5, 2 amp batteries and 1, 2.5 amp battery.

The spring was super rainy and sunny. Grass grew like crazy and I didn't have time to keep it mowed as properly as I wanted. Lots of bushes and flower beds and an acre of grass. 3, 2 amp batteries wasn't keeping up with me and I was waiting on them to charge with a rapid charger. The charger warning light came in and that's when I decided I needed more batteries or larger ones. I figured getting more small ones with cheap tools was the route to go.

I almost bought a snow blower on Amazon warehouse with a 5 amp battery, but it rarely snows enough to use it. Plus the battery length didn't seem to fit the housing dimension on my mower for some reason. I didn't want grass getting in the battery chamber.

Yeah, I'm curious too. I ordered from Walmart the other day the pole saw. Also order the blower from BB too.
