I think this linksys deal is better at 1/2 the price

I have the linksys and it has been solid since I received it free as part of the beta testing as part of full disclosure. But it has been solid since day one and the 6E band is nice to have. I currently have 3 routers a Netgear AXE11000, Orbi 750 Mesh and this router for 100 bucks I don't think you will find a better value.

hmm maybe; i tried the linksys velop recently I think the MX4200 variation and had nothing but trouble after setting it up; constant disconnects or devices refusing to connect; the app was so bad on Android as well and the web GUI for the firmware was wonky at best; ended up returning it so can't really say many positive things about Linksys right now; this TP-link router might be old and not have constant firmware updates but it is dam rock solid and provides some crazy range; almost 400 feet down my drive way I can still pick up a 5Ghz signal off this beast

So you had a different router than the one I mentioned, the original FP deal I linked to most people were happy with the router.
So I am confused why you felt the need to knock the router I mentioned, when it was just a FP deal and I wanted to make sure people knew of an alternative.
Routers are always YMMV but at least I actually own and have used the router literally from the day it first shipped?

end of the day it's Linksys with their same crappy app and web GUI; half the cost but twice the setup pain and lack of wifi tx power coverage

I have the Costco version (just a different model #), It replaced my old bricked Netgear Nighthawk router.

I love this to death. 6GB is pretty solid. I only have 2 laptops and getting 700MB constant over 6G.

Both my and wife are full remote workers (I'm a healtcare sys admin). Zero issues in the 3 months of ownership. I did the scheduled reboot weekly and thats about it. I have a 3500 sq feet 2 story house and the range is excellent.

One of the issues I had constantly with my Nighthawk was my outdoor Ring Stickupcam would lose connection to my router. Mainly due to the range.

Ever since I upgraded to this, I haven't had a single lost instance to my outdoor camera and the video feed comes up just fine (even when I'm away from the house).

I bought mine for WAY more ...lol. At this price, I would buy it again if I had to!!

bought one and returning it. wifi range is very poor, loosing 60% speed at 50 feet. can't handle a 1800 sf 2 bedroom two story apartment. No better then my 5 year old google nest mesh.
