This is one of the worst type of power banks ever made. The amount of pressure/stress you will put on your iPhone's port. There are other brands that make the same type and they are all terribly designed. Would recommend go with a different design.

That's what we call an "inside your head" thought. There was never a need to tell anyone that.

I am too guilty of acting like this, after I got a real job as a laborer, I figured out a lot of stuff when people would point this out and make me feel extremely stupid if I said something like that. Got to love the bluntness of the construction industry.

Is that still the case of phone getting hot with MagSafe. ?
just inherent issue with wireless charging with or without MagSafe.

Is this battery bank made of two 18650 2500mAh batteries? Has anyone tried opening it?

I dont want to hijack this thread with a somewhat generic/unreleated question but if I bought one of these, charged it all the way up and then threw it in my trunk, how long would the charge last? a year from now, would it charge up my phone enough to make an emergency call or something like that?
Heat can destroy your battery life. In fact, high temperatures can cause an explosion. Lithium batteries lose their capacity faster at high temperatures. Thus, overheating reduces the battery's cycle life. Keep it in as cool a place as you have. Not the glovebox.

Today we had a 12 hours power outage. Made me realized how bad iPhones battery life are. I was looking all over the house for a power bank that I hardly use because I was down to 15% within 4 hours of normal using surfing the internet.
Got to invest in a battery extension case.
Beautiful thing about a power bank is that the "good" ones hold their charge for over a year, so even if there was degradation and say it's now 95% instead of 100%....you're still powering up 1-2 complete phone cycles.

I have 4 power banks around the house and two magsafe chargers. You truly never know when you need your phone until the power goes out, and when the pwoer goes out the last thing you want is to be babysitting a battery Smilie

I plan to upgrade if the 16 has the exponentially better AI the analysts are saying it will —however this device is only $12 and the iPhone 16 may not meet expectations on AI —and may be delayed because of screen upgrades —so what the heck —it's only $12– that's less than all of the inexplicable charges on your cell bill each month.
You can get an open box version with usb-c for $14.39

Biggest issue with these is they don't fit using a lot of cases especially one where the screen protector is built into the case.
Not true!. I have one and it fits with the thick case and glass protector

nah design is good. you are just imagining things. the port holds up just fine. Have the usbc one for months with 15pro. Using it daily while traveling around Japan, Taiwan, and S. Korea for 5+ months. Way more practical and convenient than typical designs.
disagree, I found it annoying to use while attached in my travels. A normal powerbank in your pocket or fanny pack with a nice flexible cable is far superior.
